Vorhalas was the name of a Vor family on Barrayar. Their most prominent member was District Count Vorhalas, a noted member of the Conservative Party, known for his iron integrity and principled opposition to the Centrist Coalition and later the Progressive Party led by Aral Vorkosigan.
Other members of the family included:
- The count's younger brother was Admiral Rulf Vorhalas who was a close friend to Aral, but died during Shards of Honor.
- Carl Vorhalas, the count's younger son, who died during the events of Barrayar.
- Count Vorhalas' older son and heir, Commander Evon Vorhalas, who died near the end of Barrayar.
- An unnamed daughter.
