Viceroy

Viceroy was a Barrayaran title for the official who governed one of the two planetary viceroyalties in the Barrayaran Imperium.

• The Viceroy of Komarr was locally styled the Imperial Counselor.
• Cordelia Naismith Vorkosigan had a joint appointment with Aral Vorkosigan as Vicereine of Sergyar; they served as equal co-rulers. The job was known for being thankless: the prior Viceroy had begged/whined to come home as a result.
• The Sergyaran Viceroy's Annual Report to Emperor Gregor required a visit to Barrayar. At the time of Gentleman Jole, it occurred during Winterfair on Barrayar.
