Admiral Rulf Vorhalas (RUHLF vohr-HAA-lahs) was the younger brother of Count Vorhalas; he was a close friend of Aral Vorkosigan, and was killed during the Escobaran War.
The ship Commodore Vorhalas may have been named for him.
