Rodeo (roh-DAY-oh) was a non-colonized planet only one wormhole jump away from Orient IV.[1]
It had a poisonous, thin atmosphere - all three of nitrogen, oxygen, and carbon dioxide were present, but the relative amounts were wrong and the air was too thin to breathe.[2][3] Its main interest to the rest of the Nexus was for being mined for its large quantities of petroleum products.[4]
It had an approximately 27 hour day, and at least three "mice" moons.[5] Red desert[2], rugged mountains[3], and dried lake beds[6] existed on the surface. Some kind of plants appeared to exist on the planet, at least some of which produced logs that could block streams.[7]
