The Municipal Guard was a type of civilian police force on Barrayar. They were a separate entity from Imperial Security and Service Security. In Vorbarr Sultana, they were under the command of Lord Vorbohn.
Roic served in the Hassadar Municipal Guard before becoming an armsman.
