Lieutenant Gamad (GAH-mahd), a junior officer of Felice, was an ambitious but not terribly bright man who attempted to climb his nation's promotion ladder at Miles Vorkosigan's expense. The attempt failed when Baz Jesek and Arde Mayhew explained matters to General Halify upon his arrival at the mining facility the nascent Dendarii fleet had taken over.
