The Galen Family, those Galens, was a family of Oligarchs on the planet Komarr. In addition to running the business named the Galen Orbital Transshipping Warehouse Cartel, they had at least one member on their ruling council at the time of the Komarran Conquest.[1]
They were heavily involved in the Komarran Revolt; as a result, they were no longer a wealthy family once the revolt was ended.
It is likely that much of the wealth and power of the Galen family derived from the famous Golden Voyage of Marat Galen.[2]
Known members of the family[]
- Rebecca Galen, member of the Council who was killed in the Solstice Massacre.[1]
- Ser Galen, brother to Rebecca.
- David Galen, son of Ser Galen.
- Another unnamed son of Ser Galen who died during the revolt.[3]
- Unnamed wife of Ser Galen, who died sometime later.[3]
