Lieutenant Croye was a Barrayaran officer who was serving at the Barrayaran Embassy on Beta Colony at the time of the transition from Aral Vorkosigan's Regency to Gregor Vorbarra's reign. He had the job of trying to trying to keep track of Miles Vorkosigan's activities while on Beta Colony; a task made quite difficult by Miles's refusal to be watched over.
