Bioweapons, weapons made from living things, were perhaps the most feared type of weapon in the Nexus. They could be prokaryotes, as in the bioweapon that destroyed Simon Illyan's eidetic chip[1], or more complex parasites as in the disease that killed Russo Gupta's companions by melting them.[2]
It was believed that the Cetagandan Haut-women had a significant stock of highly-advanced bioweapons that were primarily used in small-scale assassinations.[3]
